This is a wonderful list but a lot of these things don’t look very good on me – 5′ tall, 135 lbs., big boobs, short legs. I am planning a vacation in Hawaii and I am stumped as to what would be fashionable, comfortable and would look good on me. Any advice?

If you legs are good–cotton “city shorts” (they are long, slim–and are to the knee ) are great worn with a flat platform slide on your feet (for added length to your leg). Wear them with a Lacoste or RL Polo shirt.
Carry a large straw tote…Have fun!

I’ve searched, but no one seems to know how a mature woman, over 50, can dress in a hip, modern style, while not looking like an old lady trying to recapture her youth. Classics are great but boring. We want to have fun with our clothes style.
Ruth,
I think the key is with accessories. I love scarves and chunky jewlery. I’m not big on purses or shoes, but most women are. I don’t care how old we get, nothing springs an outfit to life better than the right accessories.
